| Mum was on a course in Boston when she suspected
she might be pregnant. Although she was getting plenty of sleep she was
really very tired and was nodding off during class, which was embarrassing
in a class of only 6 people!
Mum bought a pregnancy test on Saturday March 16, 2002, a few days after
she returned home... it was positive! She picked Dad up from work
that night and stopped at the ATM to deposit money; but before she left
she gave Dad a card congratulating him on the new arrival - ME! When
Mum came back, there was Dad, jumping for joy!
Mum and Dad agreed they would keep it a secret until
reaching the three month mark. That resolution didn't last very
long!
The next night, Mum and Dad went out for dinner with Nanima and
Nanabapa. Dad just couldn't contain himself, he just had to tell them!
Nanima jumped up to give Mum a big hug... she was ecstatic!
